    Product Description

    An Mipro-E S-L Conductive Flooring Epoxy Coating incorporates a conductive particle within its matrix, making the coating electrically active and allowing electrical current to pass through it. It can hold electrical charge from one point to another in the same way as a wire can. This is in contrast to wood, acrylic, or glass, which are considered insulators that are incapable of carrying an electrical current. The aforementioned property is not present in the majority of paints or polymer coatings.


    MIPRO-E S/L CONDUCTIVE is an antistatic, hard-wearing, self-smoothing epoxy resin floor finish, confirming to most  international standards. 


    MIPRO-E S/L CONDUCTIVE is used to achieve joint less, hard-wearing, antistatic floor finish. Standard application of this  floor system is for the floor which is design for dry process and exposed to medium to heavy duty foot traffic, trolley and  pallet movements. Typical applications are: pharmaceutical plants, laboratories, clean rooms, electrical equipment  testing floor of electronic, aerospace, automotive etc. 


    Gloss Finish with attractive standard colours like: Green, Blue, Grey, yellow, Ivory, Anti-Bacterial, anti-fungal, Hygienic  and easy to clean, Non-dusting and stain resistant, Hard-wearing, Chemical resistance, Abrasion resistance 


    Concrete or screed substrate should be a minimum of 25N/ mm, free from laitance, dust and other contamination. The  substrate should be dry and free from rising damp and ground water pressure. Application of a 1mm self-smoothing  product also requires a smooth substrate. 

    Conductive tape 

    A grid of 12 or 15mm wide, self-adhesive, conductive copper tape is always recommended for antistatic flooring system.  The copper tape must be applied directly onto the cured MIPRO-WBE conductive primer coat, maximum 1 metre in from  the perimeter of the application. Further, strips of tape should be applied within this area every 3 metres. Special  attention should be paid to tape areas passing over expansion or bay joints to ensure permanent electrical continuity. 

    The applied tape should be secure and fully bonded to a confirmed earth point.
